Solar Power International (SPI) has established itself as the only “must attend” solar event. It is the largest solar conference and expo in the US and is continuing to grow from 1,100 attendees to over 22,500 in just 5 years. SPI 2009 will be held in Anaheim, at the Anaheim Convention center.

The team at Vaillant Solar Systems is excited to announce that two of our installers are going to be featured on the upcoming San Diego Solar Homes Tour on October 3, 2009. Adroit Solar and Photon Solar Power each have a Vaillant solar thermal installation on display for people to visit and learn more about solar water heating during this self-guided tour.

The solar homes tour is part of a full week of festivities planned by the California Center for Sustainable Energy. The week includes the following solar events:
- Family Solar Day on September 27: Bring the whole family to this free Solar Energy Week kick-off event and learn about powering your world with the sun in a casual, relaxed atmosphere at the historic Liberty Station on San Diego Bay.
- San Diego Solar Conference on September 29: This all-day conference features keynote speakers and high-level experts, who will be exploring the latest policy, trends, technologies and many other important industry issues.
- Commercial Solar Tour on October 1: This is a guided bus tour that will transport attendees to selected locations to view various commercial solar applications and technologies.
- Solar Homes Tour on October 3: This self-guided tour offers the interested residential consumer an opportunity to learn first-hand about solar options for new construction and existing homes.
